Our bloody American Cousins

Some of these people like to fight, I mean with Rhetoric, even violence. Sadly, the two camps seem destined for war, and tragically for the good guys, the bad guys have guns. Lots of guns and many bullets. I am now convinced its not if, but when things escalate into civil war. This one would be more like the English Civil war than the American Civil War. In England, it did not matter where you lived, but what you thought.

There are some true Americans, but the people that scare me are the right wing people, that do not care what happens, as long as they have power. I'm not so fearful of a tree hugger, but those others, with the guns... Its freaking unbelievable. They refuse to accept facts, you know, the things you learn as you seek truth, preferring instead to believe in myths and fables that they grew up with. Most of them call themselves Christians, but quote the Old Testament, (you know, with the wrathful and vengeful God) rather than the Gospels, (with the loving and forgiving God).

Anyway, the issue of the day is whether the Democrats or Republicans know the best way to fix the Economy. Fact is, the Deficit is important. What is the best way to fix it? Everyone agrees, its growth. The Republicans will tell you that lowering taxes is the best way to stimulate growth. FACT - after ten years of reduced taxes, its safe to say that hypothesis is wrong. Things have never been worse. The Democrats say that stimulating the economy is the best way, hopefully sparking long term growth with immediate investment. Sadly, the people in the best position to help are Republican billionaires, and they are more interested in defeating Obama than helping their fellow countrymen, unless those fellows are investing in their own Company, which probably shipped the jobs overseas, starting this whole crisis.

Fact, when the Republicans had control of all aspects of the Government, things were good, but slowing down. After eight years of a Republican President, the US was in economic crisis. After two years of Obama, the US has pulled out of the nose dive, and stabilized the economy in the face of Global economic crisis. Let him do his job. Elect a Democratic Congress.

Introduction

I’ve come to believe that there are not good people or evil people, only good ideas, or thoughts and bad ideas and thoughts.

People merely try to share some of them, resulting in a judgement by others, who may or may not have a clue about judgement.

It does not necessarily make them good or evil, as we all have both, in various proportions.

At the end of the day, we can conclude that everyone has an opinion, and therefore has some religion, or ideology. That comes from conclusions to our search for answers. It might fit into a formal or popular religion, or it might be an agnostic or atheist concept. There is little doubt that these conclusions become a matter of theology and ideology.

The purpose of this blog is to promote, even provoke discussion.

I am hoping there are enlightened people out in cyberspace with time and inclination to contribute facts and opinion, and all I ask is that they declare whether their statements should be considered act, or faith, truth or faith, and, if possible, share their opinions about right and wrong.

and let me share this opinion with you, just to get he ball rolling.

I believe that we all have religion.

Your religion is determined by your education, and no other reason.

This is the education of experience, from the day you are born, until the day you die.

Your existence after that depends on the level of enlightenment acquired during the window of your time on God's green, blue and brown earth.

The power of your faith is determined by your effort to understand all that you experience.

I look forward to some honest and practical thoughts.

The hypothesis that everybody has good thoughts, and bad thoughts, is close to being proven.

so the brain has a range, and it has a self checking application that determines our actions.

Our actions offer the articles that give others opportunity to judge.

Judgement should be determined by clear observation.

So how does gossip affect the process?

Should we judge others?

Should FOX network present opinion as fact?

These are the questions of the hour.
